Our basses are made exclusively by hand. Building a perfect instrument requires more than 300 hours of work, a lot of precision, experience and craftsmanship.

Made approx. 1940. The bass needed a complex new and antiqued varnishing because the original varnish was badly damaged. Now it has been greatly upgraded. The setup is made by K&T. Master Johannes Rubner Solobass ¾, Germany 2024

The top of the line model made in the famous Johannes Rubner Workshop in Adorf, Germany. Only the best woods have been used to make this very accessible and big sounding solobass. It works great for Jazz or Orchestra too, because of his big volume and beautiful sound.

Alfred Meyer, Germany 1944
4-strings, String length 105,5cm
One of the last instruments made by Alfred Meyer Senior – his son was still in a warzone and he took care of the business himself. This instrument was regularly played over the last 80 years and got a total restoration in 2024, including a neckcraft, double edging on the top and all cracks are glued and stable. A very accessible bass with a big body and a big tone. The sloping shoulders make it very easy to play and suitable for all musical styles.
